The new wing of Ekstrom Library will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week starting December 1sh. The Student Government Association requested administration to provide more after-hours study space than the Tulip Tree Café offers. The common areas and meeting rooms will also be open. All of the space is wireless and can accommodate laptops. Two security guards will be on the premises at all times. One will check for UofL IDs at the door. The other will patrol the open area.

This is one-year pilot program.
