The Kornhauser Health Sciences Library is pleased to announce the availability of a stunning new online 3D anatomy resource for dentists and oral surgeons: 3D Head and Neck Anatomy for Dentistry, an encyclopedic image library and reference tool with over 100 3D views of head, neck, face, oral and nasal cavities, dentition, individual teeth in 3D and cross section, nerves, sinuses, skull, jaw, tongue, eye, brain and more with new and unparalled user driven functionality.
The revolutionary interactive features allow you can add or remove structures of the teeth, bones, arteries, veins, nerves, glands, muscles and fascia. Structures can be hidden, x-rayed or isolated, enabling you to view your chosen model or structure from any angle. Models can also be rotated 360°. Each visible structure is labeled and clicking on a structure will bring up relating text and hotlinks to additional images-dissections, clinical slides, diagrams, annotated illustrations, video clips and functional anatomy animations.
